I've been fascinated with mechanical pencils since my early school years back in the 80s and 90s. As a kid, the Pentel Quicker Clicker quickly became my favorite and a bit of an obsession.  

Although this blog is dedicated to the Pentel PD345 I also include posts about other pencils in my collection.  I am using this medium as a way to document what I've collected over the years and as a way to share details I've uncovered through both simple means and detective work.

 

In early 2021 I started a private/members-only group called Knockology.  Knockology is a place for dedicated collectors to gather to share knowledge and their collection.  We help each other fill in the gaps and find new pieces and tid-bits of fresh info.  If you'd like to join our Knockology group please contact me by using the form below.  We are currently using Slack as our playground.
